1 min read

Reliable current monitoring in metrological verification, laboratory instrumentation (e.g., power analyzers), medical equipment (e.g., MRI), and battery pack detection is critical for maximizing operational safety and efficiency. To address the rigorous demands of these high-standard applications, the Luksens Y06-XXXWH Series current transducer operates on the advanced principle of magnetic compensation.

Unlike traditional sensors, the Y06 series utilizes galvanic isolation techniques to safely separate the primary and secondary circuits, enabling precise measurement of DC, AC, or pulse currents and their combinations. Fully compliant with TSCA, REACH, RoHS, and CE standards, the series provides non-contact measurement for a maximum measuring range of up to ±2000 A (DC or AC peak). It also features a high-frequency bandwidth of 100 kHz and nearly zero magnetic hysteresis.

Key Technical Advantages:

  1. Extreme Precision: Features ±0.02% overall accuracy, <0.005% FS non-linearity, and extremely low temperature drift.

  2. Ultra-Fast Dynamics: Instantly captures transient changes with a < 1 µs step response and > 100 A/µs tracking rate.

  3. Broad Capacity: Measures nominal currents up to 2000A (±2200A peak) and operates reliably from -40°C to 85°C.

  4. Certified Safety: Ensures maximum protection with > 500 MΩ isolation and a UL 94 V0 housing, meeting IEC 61800-5-1 and IEC 61010-1 standards.
