NxxxP Close-Loop current sensor

NxxxP Close-Loop current sensor

The NxxP series is a current transducer which operates on the principle of magnetic compensation. It measures DC, AC or pulse currents and their combinations, with galvanic isolation techniques used to separate the primary and secondary circuits.

Parameter & Feature:

  • Current Range: ±50 A to ±150 A nominal measuring range (DC or AC peak)
  • Technology: Close-Loop measurement (compensated) operating on the principle of magnetic compensation based on the Hall effect
  • Mount: PCB mount, with configurations available for Style A or Style B pinouts, including options with or without a busbar
  • Power supply: ±15 V
  • Output: 1:1,000 (A) | 1:2,000 (A)
  • Non-linearity error: 0.15%
  • Response time: 1 µs
  • Bandwidth: 100 kHz (-3 dB)
  • Operating temperature range: -40 °C to 85 °C

Suitable for the following:

  • AC variable speed drives and servo motor drives
  • Static converters for DC motor drives
  • Battery management systems
  • Uninterruptible power supplies (UPS)
  • Switched-mode power supplies (SMPS)
  • Overcurrent protections
  • Short circuit protections
